Happy Tuesday! I’m excited to announce I began 2019 by getting outside and walking! Of course, I would have preferred a 3-mile run, but who am I kidding it’s been a while. I’m always reminiscing of my 10,12,15 mile runs of like ten years ago and feel disappointed with my inability to currently finish one mile. So as I set off for my first walk of the year, I decided to focus on enjoying the process of being outside instead of weighing myself down with past accomplishments. Interestingly, I noticed I had forgotten how pleasing it was to just walk. These are baby steps for sure, but i need to get my body moving! My goal for this month is to remain consistent and NOT focus on time or mileage. What are some of your fitness goals for 2019?
